Join ArtWorks Alliance
If you would like to join the ArtWorks Alliance Community of Practice. members sign up to the network’s mission, values and working practices, and contribute the time, energy, ideas and expertise they can in the context of mutual respect plus an annual contribution to core network running costs on a ‘pay as you can’ sliding scale basis (see below).
Our mission: A self-organising Community of Practice for people who are actively involved in using creativity to achieve positive social change and who believe in the transformative power of creative processes.
Your contributions are crucial for the effective management of our financial resources, ensuring that funds are allocated efficiently across our activities. This includes maintaining and developing platforms that enhance member engagement and communication, such as paying for the website and the mail-out list subscription, creating and updating online content, and the essential administrative tasks such as record keeping and supporting our Oversight Group.

Our working practice: networked
sharing information, learning from each other’s experiences and creating new ideas, projects and partnerships that otherwise wouldn’t happen
As a member – whether you’re an individual, organisation or network – you’ll benefit from:
- sharing and inviting information and support through a dedicated members’ mailing list
- taking part in regular Zoom Forums and members Gatherings for deeper knowledge and practice exchange
- developing and using network activities and assets generated through member-led AWA Action Groups
- profiling your work and that of the network through use of the AWA member logo
- being listed on the website (should you wish)
- contributing content to the monthly newsletter and website
Annual twelve month membership is on a ‘pay as you can’ basis on the following sliding scales:
Organisations: £75 to £300
Individuals: £10 to £25
We encourage those with larger budgets to contribute at the top of the scale, in unity with small organisations and individuals with more limited budgets. When you have decided on your contribution, please follow the instructions below. We will always be grateful for larger contributions as they will help us to meet our increasing costs. To limit administrative time managing membership, we have reduced the number of ways to make your payment to Bank Transfer only. We can generate an invoice if required.
You can now pay your membership at any time on a twelve-month rolling basis, either using BACS payment from your bank account, or via PayPal.
