We are excited to announce the upcoming ArtWorks Alliance gathering, “Crossing Boundaries: Cross Art-Form Practice within the Participatory Arts Sector,” scheduled for Wednesday, 4th September 2024, from 10am to 12pm online.

This session, facilitated by Sue Caudle of DIY Theatre Company, who will explore the value and challenges of cross art-form practice in the participatory arts sector. We aim to:
- Enhance communication across disciplines to foster collaboration.
- Highlight the benefits of cross art-form practice for community participants.
- Discuss the advantages for participatory arts practitioners.
- Identify opportunities and challenges in interdisciplinary work.
Sue will share DIY Theatre Company’s experiences with multisensory work involving artists with lived experiences of learning disabilities.
We invite our members to contribute to this event. Your stories, insights, and experiences with cross art-form participatory arts are invaluable. Contributions can be shared live during the session or through other formats such as project resources or blog posts.
Please let us know by the end of July if you would like to participate and contribute to the session. Your input will be instrumental in developing and enriching this event.
